Hello! I’m Charlene and I own this blog (lol). I mostly write here about my life, God, experiences, realizations, and random stuff. A few reblogs, too! But I mostly do that on my other Tumblr.

BLOGGING HISTORY

I’ve been blogging since I was 9. I had AsianAvenue, Xanga, Blogspot(which had been my blogging home since 2003 and is up online until now), been hosted at Asteeg.net, and gotten my own domain, Squidcake.net, which I didn’t renew after a year. And of course, Tumblr! I’ve been on Tumblr since 2008. August 25, 2008 to be exact. So it’s been 3 and a half years. My first Tumblr currently has 1,188 pages of randomness, reblogs and whatnots, lol. This blog, however, started only a year ago.

GOOD TO KNOW

I’m 21 and the youngest in our family. I have three older brothers and that makes me the only girl.

I’m an entrepreneur, a freelance web designer and also currently working as a web designer and developer of our church, video editor, graphic designer, a multimedia minister, a photo hobbyist, a dreamer, a believer and a daughter of the King.

I also want to be a regular traveler, lol.

EXTRAS

I love reading books from chic literature, romance novels to leadership books. I love watching movies and TV series’ with my brothers. I love milk teas. I love music. I like fashion. I love shoes. I love Super Junior. I love food. I love having quiet times with God. I love God.

HIStory

I knew I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior in 2009 when I was first brought by my brothers to our church. God changed my life and the Holy Spirit moved in me that I couldn’t even begin to explain. It was an experience I could never forget. Officially, it was in February 21, 2010 when we decided to fully surrender our lives to Him and was officially baptized last April 2010. (Read about the story here.)

Currently, I am in our multimedia ministry and currently working as our church’s web designer and developer. I am continuously seeking God and growing more in Christ. And with the Holy Spirit, win souls and make disciples for Christ!

HALLYU WAVE

I like watching K-dramas and movies. Coffee Prince, Full House and Princess Hours are my all-time favorites.

I’m an ELF, Siwon & Donghae-biased. Sometimes Yesung, Kyuhyun and Hyukjae goes on the list, but seriously I like them all. I like Big Bang(GD & TOP) & 2NE1(I’m a Daragon shipper), EXO(Luhan & Kris / Sehun & SuHo), SHINee(Taemin-biased as of the moment), 2PM(Taecyeon) and other K-pop artists.

Been a K-pop fan since March 2012. Yes, I’m new! :)

SCHOOL

I once studied at De La Salle- College of St. Benilde where I took up AB Multimedia Arts. But I’ve been on leave for 2 years now and thinking of transferring.

I dream of studying design abroad for a year or two, God-willing it will happen.

Things don’t exactly turn out the way you plan it but s’all good, God has something better.
